ORIENS is founded by Mr Masaomi Umeda (梅田将臣) in 1947 in Sabae, Fukui - the origin of optical frames in Japan. Mr Umeda handcrafted these glasses with the passion and love of Japanese craftsmanship. It takes more than 200 steps of process to manufacture ORIENS both in titanium and acetate style. Over the years, these frames are produced in a delicate yet durable form.
